As a nephrologist and nutritionist, Dr. Sharica Brookins understands the importance of nutrition in kidney health management. Dr. Brookins is a board-certified Nephrologist licensed in Georgia. She studied Exercise Science & Nutrition at Florida State University followed by graduating from Meharry Medical College with a Doctorate of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at UF Health Jacksonville with recognition as American College of Physicians UF-Jax Resident of the Year. Dr. Brookins completed her Nephrology fellowship at Vanderbilt University.
